How can I become more involved on campus and meet people outside my major?
While there are many programs aimed at building smaller communities among freshmen, many students find it's harder to meet new students in their later years. Being involved in campus organizations can help. Visit the Office of Student Involvement for information on student groups, Success Programs for information on how to form study groups, and keep an eye out for campus-wide events.
How do I deal with burn out?
It's normal to feel overwhelmed at certain points during the year. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle—proper diet and exercise, sufficient sleep—will help your body cope with some ups and downs. The Stamps Health Center provides information and counseling on nutrition, exercise, and wellness.
