The following list of important dates and deadlines will help you plan for moving to campus, registering for classes, studying for exams, and lots more.

Admissions Checklist

Have you...

  • requested that Tech receive a copy of your final high school transcript with a date of graduation?
  • requested that Tech receive a copy of your final college transcript (if applicable)?
  • completed and mailed the Immunization and Tuberculosis form (Form A)?
  • completed and mailed the Medical Entrance form (Form B)?
  • made a copy of all completed forms for your records?

Important Reminders for Accepted Freshmen

Medical Records
Your Medical Entrance form and Certificate of Mumps, Measles, and Rubella (MMR) Immunizations and Tuberculosis (TB) screening forms must be completed and returned to Student Health Services prior to registration for your first-semester courses. New Student Orientation
During FASET Orientation for new Tech students, you will learn first-hand about Tech's academic programs and student life. In addition, you will register for your first-semester courses. Call 404.894.6897 or visit www.faset.gatech.edu.

Intellectual Property Policy
The Institute's Intellectual Property Policy, concerning inventions, copyrights, and computer software, applies to students as well as to faculty and staff. Adherence to that policy is a condition of continued enrollment at Georgia Tech. Visit www.academic.gatech.edu/handbook.

Computer Ownership Policy
All Tech freshmen are required to own or lease a computer. The minimum platform and software requirements are posted at www.sco.gatech.edu.

Academic Honor Code
A student initiative, the Academic Honor Code became official Institute policy in 1996. You are required to sign an honor agreement acknowledging your awareness of the Code. Visit www.honor.gatech.edu.

Campus Parking
While freshmen entering in the fall semester are not allowed to register or keep a vehicle on campus during their first term, they may apply for a permit for spring and summer terms. Visit www.parking.gatech.edu.
